About Janet Harker
Janet Harker was trained as an interior and exhibition designer at the Royal College of Art but has been making quilts and wall hangings since 1980. Her work is to be found in galleries, hotels, hospitals, public and private collections in Germany, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, the Caribbean and the UK.
Her love and understanding of colour and geometry are evident in her abstract works while her ability to draw and her imaginative use of fabrics enliven her more complex figurative pieces.
