Imbroglio of Yin and Yang  [1991]
Indian ink on paper, 13 x 16.5 cms
    Donated by the artist 1992

This cartoon was published in the Woman Cartoonist's 1992 Calendar. Yin and Yang are the two opposing principles of Chinese philosophy and religion. Yin is negative, feminine and dark and Yang is positive, masculine and light.

    Trellis [2010]
    Wallhanging - all-wool yarn, natural fleece and rug-hooking canvas, 24 x 31 inches
    Donated by the artist, 2011

Trellis is from a series of latch-hooked rugs that are leading from figuration to repeat-pattern making. It has a quality of extravagant realism, and the design could be extended beyond the bounds of its edges.
