About Vivien Blackett
Following her year as Artist-in-Residence at the National Gallery in 1986/87, Vivien Blackett continued to explore disparities of scale and representation to provoke questions about the nature of reality. Her 'events' take place in limbo between the known and the unknown, bringing together extremes of perception and knowledge, experience and emotion.
