  • About C Morey de Morand

Born in Paris, Colette Morey de Morand gained a science degree at the University of Toronto, before studying painting and printmaking in New Zealand and Ontario.

Exploring issues of life, death, sex, birth and memory, Morey de Morand's paintings interweave vivid colour with geometric form. Created intuitively, layer by layer, over long periods of time, the paintings slowly develop.
